A NOTE TO THE RUNNERS. Josh Lynott begins his first residency experimenting with an ongoing project between the worlds of poetry and running, TO MAKE RUNNING REAL AGAIN.

Inviting his community to join on a 5 month journey, the artist and athlete will live and train from within his residency at At The Above, with the end goal an exhibition to align with the 2024 Melbourne Marathon.

The project will see a night run every Wednesday of the week at 6:30pm, until the exhibition. Notes Night Run [NNR]. Different every week, these will encourage the community to contribute with thoughts, drawings or whatever they feel, pre and post runs and ultimately become a part of the project as a whole and the exhibition at its end.
