Luke Chiswell is a contemporary artist working between regional NSW and Los Angeles. His work explores language and the transformation of value through materiality. His practice employs screen printing, painting, and sculpture. Chiswell’s work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, London, Beijing, and Paris.

The individual pieces in ITEMS are not confined to traditional categories they are grouped under the concept of the “ITEM,” emphasising the process of creation and reworking. ITEMS serves as an archive, documenting the linear progression of Chiswell’s studies, experiments, concepts, and methods.
