Set in the maverick state of his prior body of work, Scrapbook expands on the motif of the rodeo in a series of dynamic and vibrant paintings. This exhibition builds a world around the cowboy and through references to fashion and pop-culture, surf-culture and romance, a multi-faceted universe starts to appear. Informed by his recent travels Scrapbook visually imparts a sense of wanderlust and nostalgia on the viewer.
