MAGNUS REID (b.1989, Perth, Western Australia) is relocating to reside full-time in Mallorca, Spain, after spending the last 14 years in London, England. He is a self-taught painter with work held in prestigious private collections in Europe, America and Australia.

HOME COUNTRY TOURIST, HOME TOWN TOURIST is a body of work created while Magnus has spent the longest time visiting Australia since he emigrated in 2008. This largely decorative show hints at the imagery, objects and icons that could develop if ideals and opinions surrounding climate change conversations extrapolated towards religion.
