A Very Bad Man

“A Very Bad Man” is the second monograph of photographs by Amanda Charchian.

The book is an homage to the synthetic glamour of Los Angeles, the cinema of the quotidian. It features contemporary creative icons such as Laura Harrier, Bianca Balti, Romain Gavras, Gabriette Bechtel, George Cortina, Alycia Debnam Carey and Alessandro Francalanci amongst others.

Nine iconic LA fine artists including Jonas Wood, Alvaro Barrington, Louise Bonnet, Delfin Finley, Claire Tabouret, Ariana Papademetropoulos, Matt Copson, and Freeman/Lowe created works on the hotel stationary inspired by the city.  These are loose in the book and can be framed.

The book also features a “Who Disappointed You Today?” HOTLINE where one can leave messages with grievances, wishes or adorations.

Amanda Charchian  is a Los Angeles based photographer who explores beauty, sensuality, memory and surrealism in stunning locations throughout the world.
