Candy Mountain is the final installment in David Black’s trilogy of titles with Hat & Beard Press. A magnificent photographic journey through the vast Western landscapes of his childhood memories and current geographical explorations.

David Black is a Los Angeles-based photographer and director noted for his work with musicians Daft Punk, Cat Power, Kendrick Lamar, and others. His photographs have been featured in The New Yorker and Rolling Stone, among many other publications. 

Images of horses running wild and celestial skies follow radiant mountain ranges, ghostly silhouettes, and lonely deserts, all infused with an unbridled sense of freedom.
