Gabriel Moses was just eighteen when he landed his first commission with Nike. Since then, the self-taught British Nigerian photographer has become highly sought after, working with major brands like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Chanel, and Vogue, as well as artists such as Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky, and Skepta. His full-page photographs reveal a distinctive and atmospheric style, rich in color and texture, and marked by a natural connection with his subjects across music, fashion, and sport.
The book includes a foreword by Moses reflecting on his creative approach, an essay by Federico Sargentone, and personal contributions from Skepta, Ciesay, Little Simz, Clint, and others. It also features a conversation between Moses and artist Slawn about life, creativity, and the balance between chaos and order. Designed by Hassan Rahim and including previously unpublished images, this powerful monograph offers a deep look into Moses’ work and his strong connection to family, culture, and community.
Authored by Katja Horvat; a creative director, consultant and editor. She exists in between all aspects of cultural integration and research, with a focus on fashion and art. Horvat is a frequent collaborator of Moses, with whom she is creatively leading this monograph.
