Katja Mayer is a German-born fashion photographer, director and artist currently based in London.
 
Mayer’s fashion work has been published widely in magazines such as Beauty Papers, CR Fashion Book, Dazed&Confused, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview Magazine, Numéro and T Magazine. Her practice typically sits at cross section of fashion and art. Katja’s commercial clients include Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and MiuMiu.
 
She also works with moving image and her debut film for ShowStudio was nominated for Best Director at the Milan Fashion Film Festival.
 
Katja Mayer is an Associate Lecturer on MA Commercial Photography and on BA (Hons) Photography and Creative Industries at London College of Communication.
